Biggs-Waters Cemetery

We found the Biggs - Waters family cemetery a warm and sunny place shaded by tall stately cedar trees and with most of its stones intact though some are leaning against trees or each other. The surrounding evergreens provide a quiet carpet of needles inside the enclosure. This was called the Biggs and Waters Cemetery in the census done by Andy Watcher in 1977 but several spellings of names and dates were corrected in his report by an aunt of Mr. Joseph Waters Sr. of Linthicum, who said it should have been Anderson & Waters, and he graciously provided us with a copy of it. The site can be found south of 834 Road, southeast of the large cleared Drop Zone. Not to be confused with the Waters Cemetery to the west of the Drop Zone which is smaller, this site contains 24 graves.
